Arriving This Week.
Having had a long-running love affair for many years now, streetwear titans Supreme have reunited with global sportswear giants Nike for a brand new collaboration, teaming up for another sneaker release.
In the past, both outfits have come together for collaborative iterations of several famous Nike silhouettes, including the Air Force 1, the SB Dunk Low, the Air Max Plus TN, as well as many more. This time around, the duo have linked up for a firmly under-the-radar 90s sneaker; the Nike Air Bakin’. Originally released back in 1997, the pair were originally worn on the basketball court by legendary baller Tim Hardaway, with this chunky high-top silhouette boasting a vibrant Supreme makeover, arriving in two triple white and black/gradient colourways. The reimagined pair maintains a lot of its signature accents and features, with Supreme’s take seeing the legendary brand opt for a synthetic pebbled leather upper with nubuck side panelling, a mesh underlay quarter panel, a rubber outsole with a moulded logo toe panel, a visible heel airbag and inset swoosh, a mesh tongue with a moulded logo, a co-branded footbed, a webbing loop at the heel, rubber logo panelling on the collar, as well as an embroidered graphic at the heel.
The Supreme x Nike Air Bakin’ collaboration is set to release on March 3rd.
